Miss. Raven’s site The Blonde Raven, is still being worked on as you read “Let’s Grow. One Step at a Time.” Adventurous Match’s goal is to be an all-inclusive Brand for people from all backgrounds and regions. Founder, Nina, has met several women and men throughout her life who inspire her to do better in all she strives to accomplish. Hear it first from her as she introduces herself to you as readers and supporters of this blog.
“Hey or yo! What is going on guys?! Ok well.. first things first. Let’s go back to the basics. My name is Nina and I am of a Polish, Danish, and Cherokee background. I loveeee to write about my passions which are everything about this site and expanding further coverage of ALL SORTS of new material – but keeping it niche-certified with what I’ve already described on this Home Page. I take lots of pictures in all sorts of outfits to remember some bomb outfits I wore and hopefully to encourage others to rock the same. If not, I’m looking to serve as a muse for people’s fashion choices or style development to find their ‘True Style.’ Now this is an ever-growing subject and a lot of interest to me as I look up to so many icons… but of course, the most Holy One is Jesus Christ, himself. I love God and it’s in my mission as well as purpose to drive together all forces in the world toward one central Truth, and that is all about the Passion for Christ. Going into a little of my testimony here, but, I grew up practicing Catholicism as a descendent from my mother’s side we are somewhat religious. My patron saint was St. Faustina when I chose to be confirmed in the faith in the 7th grade I believe, but adults can be confirmed in the Catholic faith after baptism. Saints are to me and Catholics, as examples of people and remembrance of true faith and worship. We are not to worship or pray to saints or angels, but only to pray to God in Jesus’ name. In my early 20s, I had a dream of seeing the ‘Divine Mercy’ image of Jesus which I’ll put here (St. Faustina’s sect had it commissioned that the image of Jesus she saw was to be painted after her being psychologically examined. The recollection of the facts is written here.). During this time in my life, I had many nightmares in which I would pray or call out Jesus’ name for rescue. It was only this one time I saw the image and to be fair – my mother would have these prayer cards around the house and we have several of the Divine Mercy image. I carry one in my car stuck in the window, there’s one in my kitchen, and a few others are probably in books or given away. This photo was resourced from the ‘Chaplet of Divine Mercy’ on Facebook” -Nina.
Seeing this image is a reminder of the “Fountain of Love” from God who gave his son, Jesus of Nazareth, the incarnate of God, up for all of mankind for the forgiveness of sins. The red represents the blood that was given up for Us, and the blue, the water, represents life with Him. As it says in the bible, not only did Jesus die for people so that they could inherit eternal life upon resurrection from the death of the flesh, but he wants us to have peace too. This vision was a declaration from God of the ultimate grace and trust in His mercy, “JESUS, I Trust in You.“
While I did grow as a Catholic, I relate to both the Christian and Catholic ways. It’s for Joel Osteen that has led me closer to a Christian lifestyle… or trying to be. The lifestyle is being a part of a church, relating to the sermon (So writing down things clarified from the Bible and not relying on my interpretation but listening to the pastor), and listening to reading or Word of the Day. Today, “Joy of the Lord is your Strength” (Nehemiah 8:10), as reflected in my coffee mug. The First Teaching to all from the Bible should be the Greatest Commandments ever written. For God said, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind” 1st and & Great Commandment, and “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” the Second Commandment of the Law & the Prophets (Matthew 22: 36-40 of the “New Testament, Psalms,” Thinking of You, The Gideons, edition. With different renditions of the bible, one verse might say “thy” or simplify the quote from Him, our Lord, but it is up to Us to understand and follow His Word. I am also a proud owner of the English Standard Version “Holy Bible,” which I purchased at Barnes & Noble and can be bought here on Etsy. It is a miniature version and covers the Old Testament before Jesus’ birth (for any new Christians) and the New Testament, the whole version. I recommend starting with The Gideons edition which I listed previously as a start for anyone wanting to understand the scriptures. For anyone who has trouble reading the mini version, this version is a larger print and does well to help in times of difficulty as it gives direction in the beginning pages of where to go in times of doubt and stress or prayer life. It’s easy to digest knowing who Jesus is and THEN reading back to the creation of the world, animals, and mankind. Knowing who we are through Christ for he breathed Life into us. It is noteworthy to learn about creation how we are in the image and likeness of God, and how We, as Christians, by example, lead similar lives and strive to be like Jesus doing all good works by way of undying faith. My goal is to personalize the cover of this paperback edition and make it available on my site for purchase as a starter “Intro Bible pack.” Similar to a journal bible, I’ll be sure to add a place for note-taking and supply for highlighting or tabs to stay organized in your faith journey. This mission has yet to be announced, so keep reading all other good news until then!

Each Wedding Has Its Own Story
It’s no secret that finding the ‘Perfect’ gown does exist. You simply have to look in the right places, have the right people guiding you, and be in the right mindset. A guide to helping bride-to-be’s when planning their wedding including an introduction to reasonable time-frames for planning a wedding, what Style dress for themselves or their bridesmaids, and even the color pairing for the theme of the Wedding and where/when it should take place!
My experience is ever growing hence the “One Step at a Time,” although my reporting is fast, concise, and straight to the point with what I’m learning by volunteering at a local bridal shop on the weekend. Initially, my first stop at the place (read here my blog about Finding the Perfect Wedding Dress) was with my sister… who got her dress locally where we grew up. I assisted her in trying on the dresses she was deciding on and took her pictures in all flattering angles to determine it was the ideal fit/choice. 10 dresses later and upon her second visit to the shop til she finally found her dress and it was perfect. A reminder that even if you don’t find the dress on the first visit, there is plenty more time to look – but, be sure to book an appointment with your preferred boutique, salon, shop, or department store. It can get quite busy and there being so many engaged brides, it’s best to be sure to find a time slot that works in both of your schedules to avoid being disrupted or rushed.
My goal here is to support and cheer every Bride on and add a little bit of *sparkle* to the itinerary. Getting my hand on every helpful book with Wedding Planning and speaking with consultants is my hobby. Sharing this information will be helpful for you and the millions of other brides out there. Not only will you get a basic idea of how it typically goes, but you’ll get to know more about how each bride does things. This is beneficial since it’s based on the ladies who have done their planning themselves with minimal help from a planner on a budget. Not only will I share the sites that help choose your vendors, but will also provide location ideas that can be a beautiful spot for your Wedding Day. I hope you’re as excited as I am spreading this news widely! I am so happy for you that you’re getting married – let’s begin planning and preparing ASAP!
Mocktails and Superfood Nutrition: Health & Wellness
Experience Amazing dining in the home of your kitchen! Enjoy a variety of delicious and healthy menu items of classic foods prepared with the freshest ingredients. I prepare a lot of Salmon and Seafood dishes, Dark Green Salads with Superfoods packed with Vitamins & Minerals, Lean meat proteins like Chicken with Parmesan Garlic, Honey Thyme, Lemon-Pepper seasonings, and more I’ve yet to try out! It’s never limited over here as I’m always trying something new – but for the most part, I keep my diet relatively clean nowadays (except for some sweet chocolate truffles and sugar/creamer in my coffee!). I’ve begun introducing Mocktails which are non-alcoholic fizzy drinks that can give you peace of mind of having a drink in your hand whether at a party or in the comfort of your home. I LOVE them because most of them are sparkling-based with flavor profiles that vary. Simply introducing you to a few concoctions that I’ve prepared, please take a look at the ingredients and then try them for yourself. The Iced Tea/Zevia mixture is my version of a non-alcoholic Long Island IT that you normally would get at a bar with 5 different types of alcohol. I bartended a bit in my day and drank – now I’m on medication so I don’t drink much these days.

Perfect for a day at home working in your office, hanging or chilling with family/friends, and ideal when deciding on something to drink – You can just make a new Mocktail! These are proven to taste good and give you sort of a placebo effect (like you’re relaxed).
Mocktails are a creative way to explore other liquids that are great and tasty. Sometimes we just need something to sip on something even if we’re not hungry or just busy typing away on the computer and sending a mass e-mail or text.
Each drink made here is named by the Holy Bible. Now, there’s no verse supporting each one, except for the Awakening Day Mocktail, by which is cited in James 2:26. But Blessing and Patience are gifts to each human being as we walk through this life. I pray for blessings upon blessings for whomever reads this and may you enjoy these drinks and have fun creating them by yourself or loved ones – it’s nice to make them together with each other on a sunny or warm day.
I’m still crafting a seasonal seltzer Mocktail for the summer, but looking to share all year round any new formulas that are quick to try. Please, leave a comment if you loved what you read!

Iced Tea and Zevia Coke Mocktail
The original recipe by Nina, called “Awakening Day,” for it is encouraged to follow Good Word and thought, by good action/deed… God says without good works, faith is dead (caffeine edition).
INGREDIENTS-
Unsweetened Arizona Iced Tea, Zevia Coke 0 calorie Soda, Lime Juice, Lime Sparkling Water or your choice, Garnish: Lemon Slice or wedge
Sparkling Grapefruit Mocktail
Nicknamed, “Blessing,” Drink this because the little things are taken into account, such as familia, friends, peers that challenge us rightfully, and All People God puts on our paths. +
INGREDIENTS-
Decaffeinated Green Tea, Fresh Grapefruit Juice 1/2 a reg. cup, Lime Juice, Agave, Sparkling Water, Garnish: Lemon or Grapefruit Slice
Strawberry Honey Mocktail
This drink is called, “Patiently,” because upon waiting, we learn to sit still, observe, and be grateful for all God gives.
INGREDIENTS-
Strawberries, Lime Juice, Sweetner (aka Honey), Carbonated Water (I typically like to use Perrier Sparkling Water or Trader Joes Lime Fizz, Garnish: Strawberry
