Take it or leave it – fashion allows one to express themselves in a way instead of verbalizing. Just liked moods we can change our outfit several times until we find the perfect aesthetic upon walking out the door. Sometimes you can make costume changes every couple minutes until your satisfied with your decision. Here, on TheBlondeRaven you’ll find outfit pairing ideas as well as Outfit of The Day turning to Night that will provide quick thought for what you should wear if you want. I don’t claim to be a Runway model, but I do take some pretty darn good pictures and my lighting looks great. Not only am I inspired by icons such as singer/artist, @Badgalriri (Rihanna), runway model, @gigihadid (Gigi Hadid), fictional character Carrie Bradshaw from Sex & the City, and Aaliyah (Treasured R&B singer who passed away too soon), but I do try and create some of their iconic looks. Now don’t hold me to the T, I said “try,” so I’m not to be held liable for not fitting your description of how these looks should play out. That being said, style is all subjective so I am and you are 100% free to do as you please with whatever YOU think looks good.

My YouTube channel is linked under my alias ‘Janina Raven’ of which I find expressing myself through fashion easier when I go by my middle name which serves sort of like a stage name. This is also something that might help you get out of your comfort zone… just like Marilyn Monroe – you know. Her name was Norma Jeane Mortenson and she was born Mexican but changed her look under her acting/modeling career in lifestyles of the Rich and Famous in Hollywood. May she rest in peace.

If you’re looking to brighten up your look or “glow up” popularized in Gen Z lingo, then I’ll teach you what I have done that gets noticed. I’m working on my skills when in front of the camera as the words flow better when I write, but I wish to give all of my personality to you so I don’t leave anything out. Like I’ve said in different areas of this blog – it’s in my soul to give to the subscribers, listeners, and supporters of my blog or interests all of me and gift surprises. But, there’s time and space for everybody to learn and I will share what I uncover as we progress, but blogging is more my Thing.

BUT – I’m looking to highlight more beautiful women and People instead of myself on this site and all platforms I produce. I’ve developed connections on social media sites such as Instagram with fellow dancers, Models, singers, and instrument players – all of which orchestrate a perfect ensemble for my production manifestations. I’ll go ahead and share a picture of all the shoots I’ve creatively directed below for reference. Yes – these people inspire me and you should definitely check them out. Again – Doug photographed these with his camera as I was by his side. Super happy with how they turned out and still looking back – I am in love with these photos! Life imitates art.

My First Official Creative Shoot directing this in a local neighborhood. None other than Industry Dancer, Madison Jossan. Her Instagram is @madisonjossaan as listed on the photo. She dances all styles and has danced with the Washington Commanders ‘Command Force’ Entertainment Team.

As the poster says, I am looking for Volunteer Models for TheBlondeRaven. This is a non-paid position and photographs are needed. I’m looking to practice my photography skills – but also do work with some skilled photographers in the area if need-be.

REQUIREMENTS-

Models are to bring their own clothes and do their make-up (minimal is required for some shoots), OR we/I can assist with providing MUA assistance or style choices for the look we are going for, but this must be discussed beforehand.

With these shoots I direct I find that there is room for unpredictability, meaning, sometimes the photographs/pics come out with an extra somethin’ special. This is what’s beautiful about these types of portraits done at TheBlondeRaven. You know the photos are gonna come out great – but you never know what to expect as the final product. That’s where the creative process comes in. But a “look” for the shoot is always discussed beforehand as there is also “going with the flow.” It’s purposeful to have direction in mind but – love it when a “model loves the camera” as opposed to the other way around. Just need a desire to be caught in different moments and moods. Through dance, we can feel so much emotion and sass sometimes. Whether she be grinding, twerking, and poppin’ it – you can feel the Motion and beat.

Who is TheBlondeRaven?

So you’ve probably wondered what makes for the name The Blonde Raven. Well, it’s pretty simple – I’m blonde and my middle name is Raven, lol. But really, it’s so much more than just a name. It’s an alias for people to write on this blog and be fully liberated in any and every way. Passion for fashion, reviews, and being able to have a convo online can boost a way to meet solid people who have your back and make everlasting friendships. This blog here is me narrowing it down so people can find joy in a Solid Way.

ATTN: As I’ve mentioned above with the Volunteer Models… putting the poster/flyer out here for anyone who is down to do some photoshoots. I got a Canon camera, some time and we can meet up at a studio or anywhere in the state of Virginia (30 miles or less for now since I’m having car troubles with my 2016 Jeep Wrangler). Of course, the first two images you saw were not taken by me specifically, but I was there assisting with the production. A couple of different ‘looks‘ ranging from my birthday yellow, red, light blue, to brown of chilling on my family’s patio. I love a good brick wall background… it sort of goes with my ‘Step Up’ dance theme. Below here is one of my favorite Hip Hop dances from the studio Cerdafied. This place gives a very professional build for aspiring dancers in the industry, teaching certified classes, and connecting with fellow dancers to participate in portfolio-building career and opportunities. I’ve enjoyed participating and attending as a dancer from my neighborhood with no professional experience just a love for Human Artistic Expression. “I’ll be sure to link on this site some amazing dancers still to check out, far better than me to be honest. “Granted I take a lot of pictures before leaving the house. I do go out and about but I guess I’m so caught up in the moment with friends, family, and everyone to take pictures when out (but this is changing). Usually, I take these artistic features of myself when I have a moment before or after my errands or work. But, like I’ve said – I love capturing the art of others most of all.
